White/Beige SUV (one of MP2's Personal Vehicles)
1997 Ford Explorer White/Gold with Beige Interior. 215 Hp 4.0 SOHC V6 with 5 Speed Automatic Transmission, 104k miles. Maintained with K&N filters and Redline Synthetic Fluids throughout. Fully Serviced in advance of being posted (Engine/Trans/Diff/Brake Fluid $600). Lot's of New hardware - KUMHO Tires (July 2014 $800), Bilstein Shocks (x5 $500), Brakes serviced last year with Akebono Pads , Front bearings (Timken) and seals at the same time ($600). New Front Suspension joints and control arms installed two years ago ($1450), AC blows cold all electrics work power windows and sunroof, locks auto headlamps and yellow star fog lamps all stock. Class 5 receiver hitch and light plug, occasionally pulled my Waver Runner. Garaged since new driven daily 3-5 miles bought a newer model Explorer on a deal. Good solid truck with lots of life left in it and in incredibly clean shape. Two flaws, 4 inch split in the driver's seat bottom (can replace the seat base for $350), small nick in top of the front bumper (gold paint part), air blend door motor (have a new one to go with it), ABS light on ABS control issue - does not affect the operation though.
